A fire crew uses 100 litres of water in 10 minutes at a constant flow rate. At the same rate, how many litres will they use in 30 minutes?
Find the flow rate, then scale it up. Rate = 100 L ÷ 10 min = 10 L/min. Over 30 min: 10 × 30 = 300 L.
